At the DFW Autoshow. Man that seat was comfy. Here's my lovely wife trying it out as well.

Really the only thing that had comfier seats, that I sat in at least, was the new V60 Polestar...which looked great in person. Got to see the new WRX too, but not sit in it.

What did you think of the fit/finish/materials compared to the Quattroporte brother and Chrysler 300 cousins?

Looks like a Q-porte?

Not unless my car id skills are very bad. Also the Q-p's where behind ropes where nobody could sit in them.

Miles better than a 300, imho, the seating position was just right, everything you needed to reach was within easy range, the controls weren't a maze of confusion...overall I was impressed in the few minutes I got to sit in it. Didn't get to sit in a Q-p for comparison. But I have never plopped my fat ass into such a comfortable seat, at least one located in a car.

It's understandable.
Ghibli front end:

Quattroporte front end:

Note the wheels, and lower intake/front diffuser area. Also headlights don't have a gloss black panel connecting them to the grille.

That's odd. Layout is very damn similar to the 300 . And I thought the materials felt very similar as well, and nothing at all like the Quattroporte. I was very disappointed with the Ghibli.

I was impressed with the Ghibli too. I also found it very comfortable and from what I could observe without driving it, I wouldn't mind owning one at all. I did find a few things that bugged me a little bit, like there was a few things made out of cheap, thin, hard plastic, but it's not bad enough that it ruins the experience, I was just surprised to see it in a car that costs that much.

Actually, SLR999 is right... The car you pictured above is a Quattroporte. No wonder it felt nice.

And the hood on the Q meets the headlight, hood on the G has a bit of fender between it and the headlight.

The color matched panels are what do it for me, honestly.

I saw a ghibli in the wild yesterday and was like OMG A MASERATI.... Oh it's only the ghibli. Still cool but not like seeing a qp or gran turismo
